Pros

Very strong and supportive culture, promotes listening, feedback and development. Flexible working hours (depending on role.) Generally worked with nice people who wanted to do the right thing, big egos aren’t recruited or tolerated. Good place for women to work, given its history as a GE business where managers are trained on how to ensure equity and efforts to improve gender diversity. The CEO and several of the international executive team are female. Company is growing and getting a lot of investment from parent EDF.

Cons

Some processes still complex after transition from GE, but company is working on this.

Pros

Company was formally established in June 2024, the company culture is nice and interactive, senior management is quite open to listen to the issues the company has been encountering, colleagues are really supportive if you have any questions or need any support. Benefits are great comparing to a lot of other companies.

Cons

Factory’s any requirements are urgent requirements, people in factory mindset is like ‘our requirements are really urgent, we need ASAP’. Mnagement team in factory is managing nothing, no manufacturing plans, forecasts and work arrangements planned reasonably, no budgets given for projects, and no clear need by dates for projects were set up clearly, a big mess and the factory production performance are not monitored by anybody properly. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have turned out every request comes urgently. The people in factory only care about chasing other business functions when the parts can be delivered and rush to get parts done ASAP, don’t really care about safety and quality even the company emphasizes four pillars SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost) in order. In reality, everything is Delivery!!! This could lead to a lot of potential risks on product quality and necessary documentation/process are neglected and not followed completely and properly in accordance with the company procedure and policies. Communication could be complicated as big company have a lot of people getting involved in the same project, miscommunication often occurs. And too many non-sense and bureaucratic daily meetings everyday which cause the actual work not done properly. Also have to keep checking work emails during the holidays, work and life balance is not always happened.
