Pros

- I was designated “Lead Technician” on a profitable company project called “Ambient” and was responsible for overseeing proper and detailed documentation, the entire wiring design and implementation. - I felt like a valuable asset to the company. - The pay is very reasonable - The people are good to work with - The president of the company was a great leader and was impressed with my skills and knowledge. He showed interest in hiring me when my temp contract was up.

Cons

- My supervisor started out being very friendly and personable, but became more and more negative about his job and the people there. Complained frequently about everything and in turn made me feel bad whenever I was around him. - Even though the president of the company showed interest in hiring me, my supervisor decided to let me go/lay me off after I was out for a few days with the flu. Still affects me today, as I loved this company and had a promising future there.

Aquila Technology Response
11y
It's always disappointing to read about employee/supervisor conflicts. In this case, I'm confused by the response. The organizational structure described by this respondent doesn't match Aquila's organizational structure at all. Also, Aquila is based in Massachusetts and it looks like this person is in NM. I'm left to wonder if the employee worked for another company named Aquila, as there are several out there?
