Pros

The flexibility of being able to work from home for me is huge, but I realize that doesn’t apply to all employees in the company. I am very busy and the workload is high, but my team is very flexible when I need to leave early, go to an appointment, take time off, etc. The team you work with really can make or break your experience, but I work in a role where I interact with lots of different departments and I genuinely like (or at least respect) almost everyone I encounter at Aprio. It’s definitely the friendliest and most professional group of colleagues I’ve ever worked with before. I feel like it strikes a balance of being a professional organization but with a less formal and more fun culture.

Cons

Aprio is rapidly growing through M&As and the stress that can put on everyone is a bit much. There’s a lot continually changing and leadership does not do a great job at communicating or managing that pace of change. The influence of the PE firm investment has already been felt. Lower raises and bonuses this year- previously Aprio was generous with both in the past so this year was disappointing (although still better than what I got at my last two companies).
