      Good for a High School or College Job - Server Applebee's Employee Review

      Pros

      Ability to make more money than other College or High School job options. Co-workers were very nice and everyone got along for the most part.

      Cons

      Almost impossible to get a promotion. Server wage is poor. $3.15/hr is not adequate for living on if you have a series of slow shifts. Managers need to know when to cut servers and not keep too many people on the floor. Mangers need to trust employees to do their jobs. Managers need to know to stay out of the way during a rush and stop trying to do other peoples jobs for them because they get in the way.

      Short drive, Half off food, Will work with you with your schedule.

      Cons

      GM unprofessional. Not appreciated for your experience and what u can bring to the table. Tips were poor. Poor customer base. Antiquated POS. No patience to train properly. Are bullies. Heating and AC do not work properly. Extreme favoritism. Do not recommend. Oh and if you didn't make your sales quota, u were told you would lose hours. If a table walked out without paying, they made u pay the difference. Callous, unprofessional, employees came last. Sales is all that matters.
