Pros
Appirio was a great company with a healthy work culture ever since I worked there from 2010-2019. Even before remote working became the norm, Appirio had remote working fine tuned to an art. With their informal reporting structure, if you were a diligent and hard working employee, we had rewards including bonuses and stock options (not great - but better than nothing)
Cons
Once they go bought over by a corporate giant, it's all downhill and Appirio is only a distant memory. The good that come out of this acquisition is that it spawned mini Appirios who are doing very well and keeping the culture alive.
