Pros

- Flexible hours under most teams/managers/roles - 100% remote organization - HR team is great - Good tools (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, Mac devices standard, Salesforce, etc.) - Great engineers

Cons

- Comp is generally below market rates - Executive leadership is generally poor (distant, two-faced, apathetic, etc.) outside the engineering/dev team - Increasingly political organization - Most technical roles are being near-shored to Canada (Vancouver specifically) - Org claims to be people first but don't expect communication about under-performance before termination - high turnover, especially within Marketing (3+ leaders in 3 years) - rebranded to a very generic name (Velora) - few team-building events if not a part of leadership (leadership meets in person once a quarter, while anyone below director level has not had a whole-company, in-person event since the acquisitions)

Pros

- Can work 100% remotely

Cons

- Not much direction on our teams beyond day to day tasks. A LOT of turnover and up to 80-90% of the company has changed since the recent company acquirement, which includes most (if not all) of the senior staff. This turnover is being branded as an 'opportunity for growth' which is more like peeing on employees legs and telling them its raining. Basically they're following this model as old as time: Money > Employees.
