PYRAMID SCHEME. AVOID! - Fundraiser/Field Representative Apex Organisation Employee Review

Pros

listen to ego filled owner waffle about past successes, sometimes says something funny.

Cons

You WILL work LONG hours. Rubbish pay (they pay less than minimum wage and justify legally and logically you're "self employed") "self employed" - you have NO self employed freedom. you're even guilt tripped + bribed to working saturdays! (they won't allow you to train or "build team" if you dont work saturday in additional to your 50+ hours that week. "Company" owners make no money, just check companies house. Keep you brainwashed by pipe dream and "opportunities" IF YOU START - JUST ASK EVERYONE HOW MUCH THEY MADE LAST MONTH (NOT OWNERS AND ASSISTANT OWNERS)

Pros

Being here almost 8 months now, I have learnt so much . You have the opportunity to learn from those at the same level but also from people running their own company’s directly. Got given the chance to go on a company trip to Bodrum, Turkey too meet and network with other BAs from all over the country, an experience I will never forget. Generally just a lovely place to work the team are always there to push each other to do and be better. Not only have I learnt sales skills, but enhanced my confidence and social skills outside of work. There are endless opportunities for us to grow at our own pace. It’s nice to work somewhere where management actually cares about you, in and out of work whatever the problem.

Cons

This job is definitely not for everyone but very rewarding for people who are willing to put the work in and understand how delayed gratification works.

Pros

After 5 years with Apex, I absolutely know that it is the people who are willing to go the extra mile that achieve the highest rewards. There is a clear career path and the training is ongoing. It is much fun as part of a great team. There are opportunities to travel, I've just been to Turkey with the company, as a reward for my performance. I always say to anyone who asks that if you have confidence and a great personality, you will always do well with us.

Cons

I can't really think of a downside, in a sales role you need to be able to keep the same level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the day and leave your own troubles and concerns at home. This is a skill that is tough to learn and so it's important to able to take this onboard and work towards being the best you can be.
