Pros

Nice building and office cubicles Free coffee and snacks Some friendly and genuine colleagues

Cons

The manager micro managed everything - they don’t need you to think, just do what you are told step by step. That doesn’t make you a better person in your career, all they need is someone who purely assists in fulfilling their bigger goals. It’s toxic, it makes you wonder if you’re really not that good at the job - glad I’m not there anymore and have realized that it’s the bad management - no one is perfect but good management encourages you to improve and grow, while their management keeps picking up on you and ask ‘why didn’t you do EXACTLY what you were told to do?’. Also, lack of human touch. Never thought there would be a company did zero for Christmas, no Christmas tree or anything telling you ‘hey, merry Christmas’. The only thing kept reminding you it was around the end of December was the every day meeting - ‘I know holiday is just coming guys but make sure your December budgets are met’. Btw, it made you feel worse and pitier when another team did secret Santa while your team was in the meeting room working like today is the end of the world. Last, the company asked for more than what they could give. They may let you be an executive yet you are simply an assistant to your manager, one inch straying away from the set track you’ll be dragged back. But of course you could be living in your dream if you didn’t like thinking on your own anyway. P.S. strictly no WFH - but they always make that really clear when hiring people. Not for you if you require WFH days because no room for discussion.

Pros

If you’re a friend or family member of the founder, it’s easy to get a job and coast without much accountability.

Cons

• Toxic work culture: weekend emails, long overtime hours, constant pressure. • Management often resorts to yelling instead of supporting staff. • Witnessed people crying in meetings due to the stress. • Favoritism and nepotism are rampant — hard work is not rewarded fairly. • Very poor treatment of employees overall.

Pros

I nearly declined to start here after reading these reviews, but decided to trust my own gut on the situation - and I’m so pleased I did. I’ve had a varied career over the years and I can honestly say this has been my favourite job. I don’t think it would suit every personality type, but I’m the kind of person who gets bored very easily, so I love the variety, the pace and the people. Being a smaller organisation, things change quickly and I can honestly say that in my experience the vibes are good and my colleagues have been nothing but supportive (and fun tbh). Everyone works together well and it’s quite a buzzy office in an awesome location. I’m learning lots about the industry, which I’m really enjoying. I’m seeing a lot of career progression within the business, so there is a lot of opportunity for growth.

Cons

I wouldn’t call this con, but this is very much an on-site job, remote working is rare.
