Trust - Anonymous employee Anglian Learning Employee Review

Pros

The Trust genuinely cares about their employees. The wellbeing and development of staff is an objective in the long term strategies of the Trust that is repeatedly reconsidered. In some organisations the danger is that theoretically and on paper caring for staff is a priority but that this doesn't get translated into everyday practice. However actively the Trust pursues policies which create fairness, transparency, training, development and progression of all staff where possible. Colleagues are helpful and supportive of each other and collaborative team working is encouraged.

Cons

Public funds limit the amount that can sometimes be done.

Pros

I would avoid at all costs

Cons

Terrible pay, misogynist, racist and are formidable at covering their tracks when they are found out to be unfair. I applied after working as a teacher in London while studying for a masters in ICT in Cambridge. They bullied me every single day for 1.5 years, when I complained, they bullied me even more, when I proved they were bulling me, after months of meetings and evidence, they moved me to a remote office, 3 hours journey one way. When I got sick and resigned, they put bacteria in the milk of my coffee in the fridge, and told everyone not to drink it, after I had mine. When I asked for references, they deleted all my files so I they said they couldn't give me any and I had to contact HMRC if I wanted to prove I worked there. AVOID.
