Thanks for your honest review and sorry you had a bad experience with an editor. I wish you well in your new endeavor. Most writers do a full multimedia AMP in under an hour. For that we pay US$30 or higher depending on the exact gig as there are other add on bonuses that apply to many of those (some pay US$35 or $40 or $45 each and sometimes higher). We don't sell single article writing for $500, so that is a misunderstanding. Our distribution alone can be that cost, while writing is charged at an additional lower rate, and high volume clients pay less, so there is a misunderstanding there. There's also other editorial costs, distribution costs, technology, operational and management costs etc. which we have as part of our process to deliver a campaign. We appreciate getting feedback on your work can sometimes be stressful, but we have to maintain quality for clients. If you have had a bad experience with an editor please let our CEO know so we can look into that, as nothing was reported about this incident. Obviously producing work that is continually sub-par compared to other writers on our team may mean someone is not a fit and would be let go, but nobody should be making threats to you for simple grammar mistakes.
