Pros

Pay is good once you finish training

Cons

They do not do a good job of informing their new hires about the process. First, they promise $15/hr in their handbook and their job description, but training is only $10/hr. Also, they don't tell you that if you don't master the training objectives each day of your training, they will fire you without notice. They act relaxed and say that you have weeks and months to get it, but if you don't satisfy the trainer on any given training or shadowing day, they terminate employment immediately. No benefits. Bad trainers. They require you to pay to get a food handler license upon hire, but this is non-reimbursed and you are not promised a job at this point. Finally, there were a lot of inappropriate comments and behaviors among managers and supervisors, which made me extremely uncomfortable. They say they are a family-owned company, which is why they have no HR. For context, they claim to have over 500 employees, none with access to an HR department or company.
