Pros

Free food Good Compensation and Benefits package

Cons

Lack of work-life balance. Expectation to be 4 days in the office. Immense workload. Late night calls/meetings. Senior leadership disconnected from ground level reality. Lack of autonomy for staff based in India. Management expects accountability without autonomy. Though we are full-time employees, it just feels like we are replacements for the their former contractors/service providers. Indian team is subject to constant critique and scrutiny which is not the case with US/UK based staff. "Feedback" is often forced and amounts to nitpicking over non-value added aspects of standard work and personal preferences of the global stakeholder that have nothing to do with meaningful outcomes for the business. All this impacts morale, making us feel like no matter how much we do, we aren't doing a good job. Strategy and decision making powers are in the US. Though they claim not to be a GCC and brand themselves as an "Innovation Hub", their playbook is that of a typical GCC which is evident from all the business enabling functions that operate here.

Pros

Work from home flexibility and the summer and winter shutdown periods are a nice benefit. Good health insurance.

Cons

Management style can be controlling and micromanaging with expectations that shift without clear communication. Employees are held to high standards but not always given the support or clarity needed to meet them. Performance concerns are documented quickly without full context being considered. Culture does not match the company’s public image.
