If you are working on the software engineering team, they are extremely mindful of what will make your résumé more attractive to other companies and will give you work to supplement those skills. The software team also gives you a lot of responsibility and apart from pay, there is minimal distinction between a junior engineer and an intern. There is also no coding exam during the interview which is a plus!

I did not have any complaints about the software team, but I found the company can struggle with communication between departments and upper management.

Good coworkers, positive environment, small enough for an individual to be impactful while being large enough to have interesting work. Knows some of their problems and are actively working to improve.

Lacks experts on some of their products, previous management let the chain of engineers lapse and a lot of knowledge was lost. Otherwise, still behind the times in infrastructure.
