Pros

The people here make the company that has great products and service.

Cons

The company has sacked more CEO's and run off more experienced engineers through the years and it has hurt the US plant. It is now run by one person from the German office that ONLY looks at the numbers. When the numbers are low his way of fixing the problem is letting people go. (Its always a temporary fix and the result will soon lead to another needed firing.)

Pros

Good pay Excellent insurance benefits, generous vacation and time off policies. Climate controlled fab shop Strong health and safety culture Many opportunities for advancement Job related training frequently offered at no expense OEM manufacturer of custom precision (and often automated) balancing systems for a diverse and worldwide clientele results in an always interesting and challenging environment.

Cons

Despite frequent efforts, ownership in Germany is often out of touch with local realities. As is typical in most companies there is nepotism and favoritism. Significant instability for the last several years due to several local CEO changes with the accompanying management, policy and workforce restructuring. Merit and COL raises have in general been few and insignificant. Negotiating your best rate upon hire or promotion is a better strategy than depending on raises. Almost yearly change of health insurance provider can be problematic for those with chronic or long term health issues. Open office environment.
