My experience working at American Communities over the past few years has been marked by a toxic work environment. The company’s leadership, particularly the new management team, fails to value hardworking, honest, and reliable employees. There is a constant sense of micromanagement, with a troubling assumption that employees are untrustworthy or actively working against the company’s interests.
Leadership should be focused on guiding, supporting, and helping employees reach their potential, but unfortunately, this has not been the case at American Communities. Instead of fostering a collaborative and respectful atmosphere, the focus seems to be on control and suspicion.
I would advise anyone considering a position here to think carefully. It’s important to work in an environment where people are valued and appreciated for their efforts. In the end, it’s not the title or salary that people will remember, but how they were treated during their time at the company.
