Pros

Nice pay and benefits. Coworkers (peers) were amicable and approachable. HR reps were very nice and always attempted to help with paperwork issues.

Cons

Terrible bosses.... Projects are haphazardly designed and carried out. Absolutely no room to negotiate for teleworking (For a job done completely via computer!). Employees in same department have no idea what each other are doing. Analysts are expected to "fluff" research to please plans instead of producing actual results. Unrealistic expectations and little direction from boss. Boss had lower degree than most of department and was supposed to "direct" research.

Pros

Great place to learn about health insurance policy. But be warned about working here! No honest transparancy or communication from Management. The CEO hides in his office and has his #2 run the company. More concerning is AHIP has found a work around to remove negative company reviews. Let's see how long it will take for this post to be removed.

Cons

I saw a recent post that stated AHIP executive leadership is unethical , and now the post has been removed, other recent negative reviews have been removed since new management started. It appears there is no way a current or past employee can safely and share their true and honest experience working at AHIP if it's not positive. This says a lot about Executive Management! What do you have to hide? Little to no promotion opportunities no matter how long you have worked there, management was going to roll out a new pay program but dropped the ball leaving employees with unfulfilled expectations.
