Pros
Quick short term money...maybe. Easy. Typically no customer contact. Phone support 'during' a shift is quick response
Cons
Paid by shifts called "blocks." 3, 3.5 or 4 hrs each. NO. They rarely, rarely can be done is time hrs. So you must keeping working/delivering pkgs until complete. I took my A student teen w me 2 Sat. to help sort & move extra fast. We still were over assigned time w Two of us moving fast. Therefore, pay per hour earnings is reduced. Also, if it rains (any weather but sunny) you will drive slower thus earn less per hour. Same with gated neighborhoids, gated tower buildings and similar. Time for entry access and going up elevator is not factored into delivery blocks....again lower pay is absolute! Regardless of weather, it is highly likely you will be loaded with more pkgs n distance to delivery than is literally calculatable possible. Driver support when not on a shift if slow and only by email. 1 or more days response. Worst of all, they Frequently do not read detailed information. I received repeated 'canned msg- auto' email replies to provide more info. I had provided detailed info already. Clearly, original was not read. In the end, they clearly had not read my original emails up front and same day re the below emergency situation. Lastly, NO excuse for legit emergency missing of shift even though I immediately contacted Support to let them know. Odd personal situation w neighbor whicH REQUIRED ME to contact police two days in a row for my SAFETY. These 2 safety issues speaking w police in person caused me to be de-activated for missing my scheduled block.
