Pros

AlphaSights hires incredibly bright and driven individuals to their client service team and as a result the firm is able pass on a lot of responsibility to entry level analysts. At other firms it might take years to get client contact and even longer to begin managing/running your own projects. AlphaSights allows most analysts to gain client contact very early on in their career which is a very cool experience. In addition, the culture here is amazing. Everyone who works at ASNY is young, smart and full of energy. We play on many different sports teams and always find reasons to celebrate and go out for drinks as a team. Everyone at the firm shares the common goal of wanting to grow the company as quickly and efficiently as possible, it is great to have that community feel.

Cons

We are always extremely busy with multiple projects and work streams. I would say time management becomes the hardest part of this job and making sure all of our clients are satisfied.

Pros

All around really great people culture, for the most part everyone is super driven and willing to help You definitley do earn early responsibility especially if you show early aptitude It's fun getting to own client relationship at a young age

Cons

Work and day can be tedious and feel repetitive, you must like talking to people all day, every day The hurdle performance tracking can be stressful for younger Associates Increasingly tighter competition as clients seek to find cheaper alternatives Exit opportunities can feel limited to account management/customer success work
