Pros
Benefits (insurance, 401K) are really good compared to area Good teamwork and supportive environment below management levels Opportunity exists for excellent bonus opportunities for salary, though much that goes into that is outside of your control
Cons
Work/life balance is non-existent Very chauvinist atmosphere. Women (even in management roles) are expected to coordinate meals and clean up while men are NEVER provided this expectation. The few women in management roles are also heavily scrutinized compared to their male counterparts. Everyone is treated as if he/she is immediately replaceable ("we can train your replacement within two weeks") There is no advancement structure Drastic difference in treatment between salary and hourly employees in terms of bonus structure and sick time Extremely reactionary
