Pros

The only positive was that some of the coworkers were amazing, but unfortunately, they were also treated just as horribly. The only other positive was I that I appreciate the next company Ieft them for so much more for doing the bare minimum to respect me and take proper safety precautions.

Cons

Allure labs was the worst job I have ever worked at. They treat you just like the garbage products they make. The workplace environment is so toxic that no one bothers to stay longer than 6 months unless they are on visa and are forced to stay. If you are female, unless you want to sleep with them, prepared to get sexually harassed daily and asked for sexual favors to move up in the company. There is no training, and you are expected to do the work of relatives or family friends because they are hired for upper positions without being qualified and choose to not work. The products they make are made incorrectly and made with expired raw material. The women packaging the products don’t even bother to wash their hands before returning to work after using the restroom. If they are out of one material, they use one that “looks similar.” No sanitary measures are taken when sampling or testing product, and if a product doesn’t meet requirements, or is contaminated with bacteria? Just fake the results or forge signatures. This place is DISGUSTING. It is a OSHA/EPA nightmare. There is a reason the FDA was on them in 2011. The only reason they haven’t been investigated again is because they hide all their mistakes and errors very well. If you backtrack you end up discovering a rollercoaster of errors and products made incorrectly.

Pros

Health Insurance and discounts on products

Cons

Underpaid, undervalued, in-office setting only, discrimination on employees who do get to work remotely or on a hybrid schedule, HR has their "favorite" employees and it's well known (for example, special birthday gatherings in the conference room for select employees with cake, gifts, etc...)
