Pros
The salary is good if you get it on time without a couple of weeks' delay!
Cons
I worked at Allup for seven months, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are the major issues I encountered: Consistent Salary Delays: Salaries were delayed by a couple of weeks every two months, causing financial strain and uncertainty for employees. Lack of Onboarding and Documentation: There was no proper onboarding process, plan, or documentation to help new employees get started or understand their tasks effectively. High Employee Turnover: Every 4-5 months, several employees were fired and replaced with new hires. This created a sense of job insecurity and disrupted team cohesion. Excessive Work Hours: The expectation was to work 12 hours a day, and we were told to give 200% effort without any corresponding increase in salary or additional time off. No Learning Opportunities: There was no focus on employee growth or learning. The environment did not support skill development or career progression. Neglected Production Issues: Major issues in production were often ignored, with the focus being on creating new features, even if they were riddled with bugs. This led to a very messy and unstable system. Unjustified Firings: Last month, six employees were fired without any clear reasons and were given only a one-week notice period. Overall, the work environment at Allup was highly unprofessional and stressful, with little regard for employee well-being or career growth. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a stable and supportive workplace.
