Don't apply for a job here, Worst place to work for your mental health - Policy Management Officer Allianz Partners Employee Review

I used to like going into work, but I can't say that anymore. In the past few years, The department Leads / Team leaders have developed a bullying nature towards there staff. Management refuses to acknowledge the amount of work that people do. The company speak about work-life balance and mental health all the time but there is nothing in this department. You have to fight to get a day approved for annual leave. Officers/ Administration staff are struggling with more than just depression in this department. Due to doing work above there pay grade and management verbal abuse of power. Abuse of power has extended to the Christmas holidays. Staff have been told they do not have a choice but to work either the Company day 24th of December or the Saturday (21st)before. This is something that has only been announced this year. Never would I have taught Management would sink this low. To bully staff with a company day is bad forum, the 24th of Dec is a company day, That is the day you choose to work it or not, not anything else. Why are we being forced to work on are holidays when other offices such as China and Qatar are closed for there own public holiday. This is insulting toward the staff in the Dublin office. It should be our choice if we work on 24th of December or... work the Saturday (Not a working day) to get a day back I don't need. It's not like we get paid for working the 24th. This department will walk-out.... There are no career opportunities, they give you the work with no promotion, no pay rises. the choice is to DO IT! Or a bad mark is against your name Work-Life Balance is non-existent in this department. End of year review are been used for Senior Management to abuse staff in a one-on-one session. Please get rid of end of year reviews as there is no need, as there are no career opportunities unless you are a buddy of Management. Something needs to be done... before this department walks out as it will be very soon... People are already annoyed to know new starters our coming in on more than what the started on when they first started.
