They’re posting fake reviews so I had to leave a real review - Marketing Alleyoop (CA) Employee Review

Pros

I had to come and write an honest review after seeing false 5 star positive reviews that were AI generated with the same narrative and posted all on the same date. 1. Alleyoops founders do not have strong leadership qualities and half the time, don’t remember the business objectives that they originally set out to do. 2. They do not appreciate their employees and respect work/life boundaries. They will cold call you 5+ times in a row after work hours and not respect time off. 3. The pay is so poor and the brand is literally not relevant enough to be on your resume. 4. They made people come to their home to work and essentially you become a free baby sitter while being expected to complete responsibilities. 5. They don’t mean to be terrible people but their incompetence as leaders and founders tied to their personalities = terrible managers and a toxic workforce.

Cons

Please read any of the reviews that do not have five stars.

Pros

Alleyoop has been one of the most positive work experiences I’ve had, largely because of the people leading the company. The founder, COO, and VP of Operations have built an incredibly supportive, encouraging, and motivating environment that makes employees feel valued and trusted. There is a strong sense that leadership truly cares, not just about growing the business, but also about helping the team grow with it. The culture is one of Alleyoop’s biggest strengths. Everyone works hard, but it never feels cutthroat or overly corporate. The team is collaborative, uplifting, and always willing to help each other, which makes day to day work enjoyable even during busy periods. Leadership does a great job of making people feel heard, giving them ownership, and creating excitement around where the company is headed. It is a fast growing business with a lot of opportunity, and being part of that growth has been incredibly rewarding.

Cons

As with any growing startup, priorities can move quickly and there are times when employees need to be flexible and wear multiple hats. For me, this was part of the learning experience.
