Pros
None that I can think of.
Cons
The owner is a slimy salesman that has no place running a business. He's in horrible debt, is being sued by past customers and employees, and because of this has to scrap together money from wherever he can to buy materials and pay his current employees.
Most all of the tools are from Home Depot and Princess Auto. The materials employees are expected to build the products out of are the lowest grade, cheapest products that they can source. And they have to source them from a different supplier every few weeks, as they owe the other suppliers money and can no longer order from them. Or they just order supplies under another business name.
There is little to no communication between the office and employees. The owner only comes on the shop floor to walk to the lunch room and use the microwave. There have been a handful of "floor managers" that do nothing and end up quitting or getting fired. When the installer is in the shop though, he acts like he knows and can do absolutely everything, bosses everyone around, and whines to the owner about every little thing he sees.
If you quit or are fired, good luck getting paid for your final hours and vacation pay. The owner has a very bad reputation of not paying employees what they are owed after leaving the company.
