A lot of people have long tenure and they need to hang on for life because the skills they had 10+ years ago haven't developed any further. On the other hand there's some positions that have insane turnover due to unrealistic expectations and pay.
Some positions are over worked and paid much less than others on the team that barely contribute. There's a lack of balance and people keep getting raises for doing the same thing for so long they don't desire any growth. Bare minimum has been rewarded for so long it's not a great environment for people that want to thrive and the lack of accountability is mind blowing. If you do show up ready to thrive they'll have you burnt out in less than your 90 day probationary period.
It could be a great place to work if people wanted to grow, change and evolve but they want to operate like it's the 2010s. Including their hiring practices. Most of the recruiters don't know how to source candidates or even conduct phone screens. Most pump out offers to whoever the hiring manager tells them without questioning fair hiring so believe any review that talks about the good ol boys club.
The benefits are great and a lot of the people are too they just haven't progressed with the rest of the world.
