Pros
The new ceo has enabled alkamists to work remotely. Cell phone stipend.
Cons
No more perks. We used to have free lunch, epic parties, swag and fun to balance the intense work and pace... Now it's all work and no play. Culture has changed drastically since the entire HR leadership team left--with it also left the fun, employee engagement surveys and trust. C-suites that have joined less than 18 months ago: ceo, cro, chro, cmo... turn over at the top is rampant. Turn over at all levels is rampant. Leadership bends the truth a lot... Esp to new candidates during interviews. Highly recommend talking to current employees before coming to work here. High turn over which is conveniently hidden by internal transfers. Sweatshop mentality: more, faster regardless of quality and rework. The only way to get ahead here is to throw others under the bus and align yourself with unethical snakes. If you want to work in a place that has broken down the silos, this is not the place for you. This is not a place where working parents can thrive. Lots of smoke & mirrors here! Read other reviews before joining. Leadership sees everyone as replaceable pieces in a chess game-not as individual humans. Promotions are based on who likes you, rather than value added to the company. Unlimited PTO is the biggest scam ever! Don't fall for it. The new ceo, Alex, seems to really care about people but it feels like it's 2 years too late.
