Pros

Aligned is full of amazing coworkers and team mates who you work with on a daily basis. The company does a good job at hiring great people. If starting out as a new graduate, the company gives you the opportunity to be exposed to more patients and gain valuable experience. There is also support from your practice leads and fellow practitioners. Being able to collaborate with fellow practitioners of different specialities allows patients to get the best well rounded care in Chicago land. The company focus on evidence based medicine. As a practitioner, you get to focus on treating patients while other individuals are in control of billing and scheduling. The CEOs of this company are amazing, supportive and hard working. They have a great vision and plan.

Cons

There are inconsistencies with communication from some middle management members. That disconnect can lead to frustration at times, however when these frustrations are voiced, the issues are usually resolved. At the end of the day most frustrations come from errors in communication. This company has grown substantially over the last few years and that can sometimes lead to people having to react to new situations versus having the ability to be proactive.

The coworkers were amazing as well as management. They didn't just ask you about how work was going but also your outside life.

Cons

Odd schedule but you get used to it! It's nice that you get Sunday/Monday off or two different days if you are on the second schedule.

Disorganized. Unprofessional. Underpaid for the amount of work required Focused on pushing services and supplements instead of being focusing on actually healing the patient If working on the functional medicine team, the expectations are unrealistic. You will work more than 40 hours per week to complete all your patient charts If working on the chiropractic and acupuncture team, patients visits are stacked and you will see patients every 15 minutes. Workdays are long. You will be required to work double shifts as part of your workload. Note: you may not have time for a decent lunc
