Pros
Staff is friendly, some great people work here and are really good to talk to. Sometimes they do parties or drinks nights.
Cons
The team responsible for roles related to personnel management demonstrates a concerning lack of empathy and professionalism. Interactions with them often involve outright insults or degrading comments, and there seems to be minimal consideration for the mental well-being of male employees. The pip system the company employs is weaponised against staff who aren't absolutely perfect and people who have been taken off project due to no fault of their own has been placed on pip under the pretext of "the project would have found a way to renew your contract if you just did better" which is beyond ridiculous for many reasons but the main one is the fact that some projects just don't have funding and once your off shadow they won't pay for a new employee. The work you get is few and far between if you get any at all and expect a fair bit of time on their outdated and useless "bootcamp" which will just train you to do basic coding meaning you will be thrown off the deep end when you get on project. The management is beyond rude, they will have private calls with employees on the main floor or even just talk about private matters about employees and their health such as talks about people "faking" being sick with covid. Overall the company is toxic and not worth staying in for more than a year just to get some experience in programming. They claim to be for equality but when I stated mental health issues I was having they just said "you have numbers you can call" then accused me of using my mental health as an excuse to get out of trouble with my work.
