Nobody gets fired here... EVER. Some people walk around all day doing nothing, and while it is well known that they do no actual work, it's completely acceptable. If you want to advance, you'll be told the company wants that too, but when a position comes open, you will be passed over for someone who has previously worked for the company, or someone's wife or husband, or someone's friend's football coach.
