Pros
Great pay when looking at Walmarts/Rite Aids/other grocery stores Always treated me with tons of respect, and was considerably fair Will be promoted if you work hard, and keep a positive attitude Always was treated as a company asset, due to work ethic and attitude Albertsons everywhere, so many transfer options incase you move cities
Cons
Can have terrible leadership, since store managers transfer could end up going from excellent and respected to terrible. Wages do cap out, there is a union so, once you reach the top of the union agreed wage caps, you can no longer earn more without promotion Union is weak and one of my stores closed in Portland OR, we could not get the union rep on the phone, they wouldnt come into store, union waited out the employees who had paid them for 20 years to be gone, before getting involved.
