      Pros

      Good pay & benefits (because we are union). We finally have a safety manager that cares about the safety of her workforce.

      Cons

      Terrible management. It is difficult for me to keep a good relationship with customers when Akima won’t order parts for repairs. I feel confident that Akima will loose this contract if they don’t get the purchasing and procurement running properly.

      Pros

      Hard to say any if at all. I get a paycheck (that took months to be paid correctly)

      Cons

      No wage increase despite others making way over SCA limits, no adjustments for cost of living, same people recognized for doing bare minimum, insurance premiums are insane, no allowance for unpaid leave, PM totally unaware of what even happens on the contract, no one in upper management takes accountability for mistakes and contractors are blamed, many inadequate hires made just to have a warm body
