Everyone, and I mean everyone, is so talented at what they do and the most accommodating to help in any way they can. Aker has created a friendly, community-spirited environment that is a complete pleasure to work in. It’s rare to find a place where high-level expertise and genuine kindness go hand-in-hand.

The bar for quality is very high, so it’s not a place where you can just "coast", you have to be comfortable being challenged. Additionally, because the culture is so collaborative, the consensus-building process can sometimes slow down momentum.

The people: an amazing team. The technology: working on cutting edge technology for clients who really matter. Personally for me: remote first affording a great work life balance, everyone is friendly and approachable regardless of position.

Making real friends then finding out they are half a country away, thankfully the company get togethers facilitate face to face meetings.
