- Strong Silo mentality for a Norwegian company - that goes for both departments and individual contributors. You can work there for several years and have no idea what the majority of people in the same building as you are doing or who they are. - Engineers with the longest tenure in the company do not share information, knowledge, and work. Most likely an effect of Aker Solutions history of massive layoffs (2015, 2020) under ex-CEO Luis Araujo. - No clear career path unless you go into management.
