Pros
Amazing springboard for junior staff - Great place to grow in terms of exposure and responsibilities but don't expect to be exposed to new tech, proper organisational structure and market related pay. Flexibility - Work around your life quite easily. Relaxed dress code Nice Auckland Location - Plenty of parking and out of the cbd madness. This might be a con to some. Easy going team and managers - The bar is pretty low Quarterly events, free snacks, fruit and drinks at times.
Cons
Most of the leaders at the organisation lack leadership skills Often feels like senior management are disconnected and don't know/care about the people. The goal is to sell up at a profit. The organisation lacks heart and credibility Absolutely no staff retention mechanisms in place. The best staff have either left or are in the process of leaving. Incentives are unrefined and vaguely written, with room for management to back out. Very little support available for staff that choose to remain. Staff that remain are left with very high workloads and an uncertain direction
