High turnover (problem worsened when they can't seem to find "the right person" Transparency - No idea what the company is doing. Poor product that is full of bugs and seems like management/devs only care about making new features than fixing what's broken. Frustrating experience for everyone in company. CEO spends "months" working on a "personal development plan", yet this company doesn't have an appropriate strategy for the business. Clearly, culture and personal development is not a problem and is not contributing to high turnover, why is the CEO working on this plan that is only going to be trialed to senior management? Seems like disregard for front-line staff effort and overall company. CEO seems to only want to create companies, but not grow it. It's no wonder this company has been back pedaling and stagnant for so long.
