Pros
Most employees are friendly, easy to work with. The members are great! They would actually bring in cakes, cookies and candy randomly. The benefits that come along with full time employment are one of the only real pros of working there.
Cons
During my time there, I was mistreated and targeted. My manager wrote the schedule then proceeded to give it out to all our branches employees. They then changed it without notification to us. This caused me to be late twice. Not once but twice. I brought it to the higher up and they realized it was the managers fault and dropped one incident but would not the other. I would constantly be pulled into the managers office to get a talk about something I didn't even do so much that all my employees would say "now what are they trying to get you in trouble for". The managers also got to a point where they were avoiding some of our co-workers so they did not have to help them. They also had games going on where I worked to promote sales... The last 4 games I've won I was promised a prize in which i never received. They would be jumping right on it if it was one of the select few employees they liked. I also had a manger try to write me up for checking the weather... That week they were purchasing tigers tickets and looking at lions tickets on work computers while clocked in. Before getting let go, I had many of managers from all over my area come to my branch to congratulate me on all my successes and to pick my brain on how I was doing so great. The day I got let go I had 2 managers come up and praise me for all my hard work; that I have been shown to become a great leader. After noticing all managers and higher ups were short with me and then avoid me I knew something was going on. I was pulled into an office during closing time on a Friday and told they are letting me go. I was warned from many of people to never work there or if I did to leave once I got experience, I didn't. I wanted to stay and better myself along with the company in hope they will stop firing for no reason. My cousin was fired along with 3 people I know before working there then countless people while I was working there. If you want experience then it would be a good place; your forced to learn by yourself after the 2 week training. The managers will not help and you will depend on co-workers who may tell you something wrong. If employed by Advia, do yourself a favor and gain what knowledge you need to find a different place of employment.
