Family-like environment, which is great and can be annoying all at the same time-Everyone knows everyone's business. - Critical Care RN Adventist Health and Rideout Employee Review

Pros

I loved MY work family and being able to take care of the community I was raised in. I also took pride in knowing the change and progress RIDEOUT had made during the 13 years I was there. Stand your ground, have thick skin!!!

Cons

Horrible management. Staffing is terrible and so is the effort in getting help each shift, especially in Critical Care. The floors end up with CNA's who ALL sit with patients rather than be used to their potential. All causes friction amongst staff, missed breaks and missed lunches.

Pros

Great work environment, great management

Cons

There aren’t any major cons that stand out to me. Like any healthcare setting, we face occasional challenges, but I feel leadership and staff handle them well and are responsive to concerns

Pros

Good pay, decent PTO. Patient ratios are enforced.

Cons

Poor management. Most nurses have little experience and have only worked here. This gives them very little perspective. Managers seem to utilize the hammer approach. This works because newer nurses are easily coerced.
