Pros
The people there are very friendly, there isn't too much company politics. Expansion of corporate office can lead to new opportunities.
Cons
The company has no idea what direction they're going in or how to get there. There is no room to grow. Corporate keeps hiring people to fill gaps in staff that have become staggering because of how behind the company is in terms of its technology. I think a lot of the people they are hiring are automating themselves out of their own jobs and are doing tasks that will no longer be necessary once a lot of transition processes are complete. There is no clear overhead for anything. Working there is either scrambling to put out fires or sitting around and twiddling your thumbs. no in between. The PTO here is a total joke. vacation days COME OUT OF YOUR PTO ACCRUAL and so do "Flex days" where the hospital closes randomly and you can't come in to work. You end up with approximately a week of discretionary vacation to plan on your own accord. This is ridiculous considering the surrounding state job opportunities with close to 20 days PTO accrual/ year starting PLUS company holidays. totally ridiculous!!!
