Pros
If you’re looking to do home improvement sales, this is a great company to work for. Leadership is good, Mark and Tucker are great people to work for. The sales team was a great group while I was there. I left just over 4 months ago, and received all my back-end commissions with no hassle. Sales wasn’t for me, but I’m glad I gave it a shot and I can’t think of a better place to have been for it.
Cons
Your earnings are 100% commission based, and it’s your car and your gas that you’re using. It’s always tough when you’re in a slump and work ends up costing you money. That being said, it’s standard for the industry, and AWS is completely transparent about the pay structure, so you know what you’re in for. That being said, you can still make good money doing this. It’s a tough job, but AWS is a great place to do it.
