Great Workplace - Technical Writer Advanced Thin Films Employee Review

Been at ATF for just over two years and can't say enough good things about it as a place to work. What we do is super cool and interesting. Great co-workers all around - lots of smart, helpful, driven people. Solid leadership (they've brought in and also promoted some really great leaders recently), career development opportunities, pay is great, nice annual bonuses, lots of community involvement events, and they've also had more employee appreciation and DE&I events/outings for employees over the last couple years - it's nice to feel appreciated and have fun with our coworkers.

Honestly can't think of any. This has been my favorite place to work in my whole career.

I’ve worked at Advanced Thin Films for several years now, and I worked at a few different optics companies prior to my employment here. I think ATF is a great place to work for many reasons, but for me what really makes them stand out are the opportunities employees are given to move up in the company. We recently had two different technicians move off the production floor, one moved into sales and one moved into accounting. If you’re a hard worker, you will absolutely be rewarded here. I work with a great group of people who love getting together outside of work and take advantage of the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. Advanced Thin Films is a business unit of IDEX Corporation who provides us with fantastic benefits and great pay. By far, the best company I have worked for!

There was a time a few years ago I did worry about our culture, but not anymore. There were a few employees (unfortunately, not even technicians) who didn't have the best attitudes and were really bringing the company moral down but they have since left the company and we now have a hard working, inclusive, drama free workplace! Its fantastic!
