Pros
Higher starting wages than other security agencies in San Diego. The community is small, so you will likely get to meet most of the staff if you accept shifts and varying locations. There are a lot of people of color in the company and there is work with the Jewish community, almost all of whom are very welcoming and kind to their security staff. They will work with you to try to get shifts that are convenient for school & home/work convenience, though this is not always possible or guaranteed.
Cons
The company does not include health benefits. Because the company is small you may work one or two locations regularly, and the positions are mostly access control and perimeter checks. The EP and estate opportunities are in Los Angeles and sometimes in Orange County. Pay increases are not announced, and some new hires get paid more than staff that have been employed for 2+ years.
