-Good way to learn about cars and what actually breaks on them. -great pride among non-management employees -20% discount helps -scheduling is great when time off is needed -accepting of personal life problems
Cons
-Horrible acronyms. -worthless district management -one sided contest. i.e. sales on oil.winning store g.m. gets free steak lunch. winning store team gets free hat. -customer always right no matter how stupid they are -batteries and wipers plus other things have to be done to help customers because management thinks were paid mechanics - almost always short handed at night and weekends causing unwanted stress with customers -have to complete long list of closing duties every night while management watches and doesn't help
