They Said They Were Different, but Staffing is Still Staffing - Direct Hire Recruiter Addison Group Employee Review

I got to see both sides of the staffing industry, from the candidate and consultant side. I got to experience the staffing industry from two different companies and, yet, they were both the same unfortunate, competitive, difficult, and mentally draining industry. I will never understand why people desire to talk poorly about their colleagues behind their back to their managers, or stealing each other's clients in order to get credit towards their numbers. Why does everyone have to be a shark in this tiny pond? To make it short - staffing is not a nice, uplifting, and supportive place to work if you are looking for a long-term career. Unless you're basically emotionless and neutral about bringing others down to further yourself, then you're in the right place. Thankfully, bigger and better things await me.
