Pros
Small company, operations in 5 countries including non-operated entities, A subsidiary of SINOPEC, a Chinese company. Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland - a safe, secure and stable location. Good compensation, supposedly one of the best in Europe.
Cons
Taken over by Sinopec in 2009, though benefits are yet to be seen. No change in the way company works form its pre-acquisition days, when it was owned by a Swiss billionaire. Weak leadership and management - is absolutely clueless on how to take the company forward. Current crop of senior management mostly from Shell, where they didn't have anything extraordinary achievement. A haven for ex-Shell employees after their voluntary retirement. Micromanagement at all levels. Too much politics.
