Worst professional experience of my career—highly toxic culture. - Operations Adastra Group Employee Review

Unfortunately, this was the worst work experience I have ever had. Adastra Germany feels more like a poorly run family business than an international company. At the time, the CFO was the wife of the CEO (I believe the CEO has since left). The CFO was often hysterical, shouting at and humiliating staff during meetings, targeting different colleagues each time. Furthermore, the flexible working hours only operated in one direction; we were pressured to work late but were not allowed to log these hours in the time-tracking tool to avoid overtime pay. Some colleagues even adopted this toxic behavior, bullying new hires and gatekeeping higher-level tasks to make management think the newcomers were incompetent. They did this solely to artificially boost their own status.
