Pros
Amazing company culture, and a lot of freedom to develop yourself as researcher. Lots of agency to work as a team or independently. Very good health insurance (Kaiser) when I was there.
Cons
It can be a bit chaotic, as research goals can change somewhat quickly. If you like very predictable, structured work environments, it might be challenging.
