Pros
ActivTrak is a breath of fresh air in the startup world. The CEO leads with calm and empathy, genuinely caring for the people behind the work — and it shows. The overall team culture is upbeat and supportive, with minimal politicking or backstabbing (a rarity these days). Most folks here are friendly and approachable. Communication is easy and open, regardless of title or team. The flexibility is also top-tier — whether it’s where, when, or how you work. Unlimited PTO, solid benefits, and an annual in-person gathering in Austin add to the sense of balance and connection. Oh, and did I mention? The company is doing really well which makes our ESOP feel real! I truly enjoy working here!
Cons
Like any startup, it’s not without its quirks. Things can occasionally feel chaotic, and plans may shift quickly. Decision-making processes aren’t always transparent, which can lead to some confusion at times. If you’re comfortable with change, a little ambiguity, and the occasional curveball that comes with building something great, ActivTrak offers a remarkably healthy and positive startup dynamic. It’s more organized than most startups, but hey — it’s still a startup.
