Pros
Since being bought out my Thomson Reuters, there's a better chance to transfer to a better part of the company.
Cons
Management are bullies and misuse Performance Improvement Plans to constructively fire people. Turn over is absurd. Heavy siloing, and poor inter-team communication. Near-zero progression routes or development. Promised CPD or development never showed. Little consideration for mental health, particularly during COVID. Was given a 1% raise, and in the meeting the CEO talked at length about her holidays during recent months - insulting and depressing environment all round. No flexibility since being bought out by Thomson Reuters. Pay - particularly for translating positions - was abysmal. That's a skill that is worth minimum £35,000 a year. You'd be lucky to get much above minimum wage, and don't expect wages alongside inflation.
