Pros
Some jobs are remote if you get high up enough. Pay *was* ok. You get a small increase every year. Time off is good enough
Cons
Incredibly unprofessional, you never really see things change even though they hire Managers of _____, seems like jobs are created so people can work remotely and collect a check, little connections between mission and actions. I watched the company promote people without going through a fair hiring practice that the company designed. This happened at multiple levels of the company. Leaders seem to sit in video meetings all day where they argue while schools lack air conditioning and qualified staff. I know this because then they complain to their lower employees about how hard things are for them because those employees cant do anything about it. And your reviews happen so randomly so you don't really know where you stand on your professional journey. Maybe this year, maybe next, depends if they want to. For a reflection on how that feels, ask them which category is the lowest rated in the company survey, every year. They spend lots of money to hire people at the top and also hold meetings in different places around the US. If I wrote more about what Ive seen there, you honestly wouldn't believe me. So if you take a job there, bookmark this review and check back in 3 months. You'll see.
