Work environment is great. Everyone is always helping each other. It doesn't feel like you're doing everything on your own. Benefits are decent. There is a lot of room to grow in the company. Hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Employer and Management sincerely care about you and want to make sure you are happy working here.

Can be very demanding during busy season.

The CEO runs the LA office (main branch) in a very unprofessional manner. She publicly humiliates employees by scolding and criticizing them as if they are beneath her. It is a family run business, with employees within the family, which translated to very unprofessional and demeaning behavior in front of other employees. It made me very uncomfortable. There was no training program and nothing to do so I would be sitting there for hours on end just reading over escrow documents I had no understanding of. It was strangely very controlling. The boss would force employees to dress, walk, and talk in a certain way and would reprimand you (not so privately) if you didn't. Even the resignation process was very unprofessional. My last check should have been paid out to me on the spot, but instead took well past 3 days to arrive, which is past the legal allowance. Don't work for this company if you are aiming to start a professional escrow career, because you will not be well fostered or taught here!
